A Workshop for Assisting Survivors Male and Female Survivors

Last week, the Association of Detainees and Missing Persons in Seydnayah Prison collaborated with the recovery initiative Impunity Watch organization to hold a workshop focused on assisting both male and female survivors of Syrian regime’s detention centers.

On July 26, 2018, the workshop, attended by 15 survivors of both genders, tackled a range of issues including transitional justice, the rights of victims, and methods for holding violators accountable within the Syrian context.

The event further explored global practices in the areas of documentation and advocacy for victims’ rights, drawing on examples from Nepal, Lebanon, and Tunisia.
