The Family Center of the Association of Detainees and the Missing Persons in Seydnayah Prison was established in January 2020. The center offers trauma rehabilitation services for survivors (males and females) of torture, war, violence, or any other human rights violations. Utilizing a carefully designed scientific approach in the field of mental health and under the guidance of specialized experts, the center aims to empower individuals to readjust to life, improve their job performance, and alleviate the psychological symptoms stemming from experiences of torture, war, forced displacement, enforced disappearances, and other violations.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

We aim to offer specialized psychological services via group sessions for our target audience. In these sessions, we create a secure environment where participants can openly discuss their struggles, difficulties, and traumas incurred during the conflict. Our approach is designed to help individuals enhance their coping skills, alleviate post-traumatic symptoms, build their capacities, and improve their vocational performance, which includes addressing issues like depression and anxiety.<\/p>

The center welcomes all Syrians, both men and women, who are 18 years of age or older and are experiencing specific psychological symptoms and diminished functionality due to war, forced relocation, enforced disappearances, torture, imprisonment, or any other violations of human rights.<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>
