ADMSP is located at the current Altos del Mar Park site, owned by the City of Miami Beach, at the Historic Altos del Mar District, on Collins Avenue (A1A Northbound) between 76th Street and 77th Streets in the North Beach section of Miami Beach.
The Altos del Mar a Historic District encompasses the area from 76th Street to 79th Street from Collins Avenue to the ocean’s edge. The City of Miami Beach Commission adopted Ordinance No. 87-2665 designating it as such on May 6, 1987.
The site is composed of 11 contiguous house lots of about 50 by 50 feet each stretching from Collins Avenue to the dunes and was the site of some of the area’s oldest homes of great significance to the area’s history.
